Mrs. Angie Krish

Kindergarten Teacher

Mrs. Angela Krish was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. Education: Mrs. Krish attended Our Lady of Lourdes Elementary and Assumption High School. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master's of Science in Education, with an emphasis in Literacy. She has taught for 9 years and is Kentucky Certified. She has been a Kindergarten teacher at St. Joseph School for 5 years. Family Information: Married for 19 years. I have two children. Ryan is 17, a senior at Bethlehem. Rachel is 11 and in 7th grade at St. Joseph School. Interests/hobbies: My favorite pastimes are pleasure reading, Yahtzee, and Sodoku. Favorite sport/activity: My favorite sport is basketball. I especially love watching my daughter play. Favorite animal: My favorite animal is a dog. I have two beagles: Shiloh and Tucker. Favorite color: My favorite color is red, of course, for U. of L. and St. Joe! Favorite TV show: CSI New York What you like to do on a snow day: On a snowy day, I like to stay indoors where it's warm. I usually get in the mood to cook or bake. Favorite trip: Several years ago, my husband and I went with friends on a cruise. We stopped over in the Bahamas and toured Nassau. I'll never forget how beautiful the water was! Favorite childhood memory: Learning to water ski at the age of 9. I can still feel my dad holding me in position and helping me to get up out of the water. What a thrill when I finally got up! Facts about you: The things I look forward to the most are long relaxing weekends at Rough River, annual beach vacations and the company of friends and family, while cheering on the Louisville Cardinals. What you like best about teaching: Teaching is always rewarding. I love being an inspiration and example for young children. Their enthusiasm for learning at this age is motivation in itself.
