Mrs. Chasity Cambron Livers

Middle School Math Teacher

Mrs. Chasity Livers was born in Lebanon, Kentucky. She has been a math teacher for three years, all at St. Joseph School. Education: I graduated from Nelson County High School in 2001. I was a member of the Girl's Basketball Team and National Honor Society. I graduated from Spalding University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Education (5-9) with an emphasis in Math. I graduated from college with a 4.0 GPA. Credentials: I am the MATHCOUNTS coach and the technology leader for the middle school as well as the Smart Board trainer for our school. I just finished my Kentucky Teacher Internship Program and now have a plan to return to school for my Master's Degree. Family Information: I have been married almost 5 years to Bill Livers. We have a two year old son named Lincoln. I am the oldest of 5 children ranging in age from 26 to 5. Interests/hobbies: I like to scrapbook and read; also watching movies with my family. Favorite sport/activity: Football Favorite Animal: Puppies Favorite Color: Orange (Go Conrad House!). Favorite TV show: Prison Break Least favorite job: I worked as a payroll clerk for two years while I was in college and didn't like it much because I didn't find it challenging enough. Favorite trip: We go to Gatlinburg every February and I always look forward to it because I feel like it's my second home. What you like to do on a snow day: This winter I would like to wrap up in a blanket and finish the Twilight series. Favorite childhood memory: Putting the Christmas tree up the day after Thanksgiving with my family. We would listen to Christmas music and have hot chocolate. Facts about you: The kids think it's funny that I was prom queen my senior year of high school. I'm not sure why they find this so humorous, but they do. I guess teachers aren't supposed to hold titles like that. Some who was a positive influence: My high school math teacher Mrs. Greenwell. She was so good at explaining and being patient with us; I know I learned a lot about how to explain math in the easiest way possible to students. What you like best about teaching: Being with the best group of kids everyday. I do hold a special place in my heart for each one of them. Favorite quote: "And in the end it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years." Abraham Lincoln
