FINANCIAL INFORMATION:

St. Joseph operates as a stewardship school. We chose the stewardship model for several reasons:

1. To more clearly affirm that the school is a mission or ministry of the entire parish of St. Joseph.
2. To strengthen our school community so that together we can face the challenges that are ever-present: the increasing cost to educate a child, rising technology costs, changing academic standards, and guiding our children through their youth in a time where they have access to anything and everything.
3. To ensure that a Catholic education is available to all who desire it.
4. To help our parish families realize some significant tax advantages.
Financial Assistance is available.

Stewardship for St. Joseph Parish: Families share their treasure by making a gift to St. Joseph Parish annually, semi-annually, or per 10/12 months. It is expected that by choosing the 10/12 month tithing option, families will use automatic withdrawal. The 10 month option is August through May. The 12 month option begins in July.

St. Joseph School offers parents of preschoolers a discount if they have more than one student attending St. Joseph School or St. Joseph Preschool. *The discount is 10% off the regular tuition rate for the second child if he/she has a sibling attending St. Joseph School. **The discount is 25% off the regular preschool tuition rate if he/she has a sibling attending St. Joseph Preschool.

Tuition for the 2009-2010 school year will be paid by:

Option 1: Annual payment due on or before fall registration day.
Option 2: Semi-annual payment plan (1/2 due on or before fall registration day,1/2 due on or before January 14.)
Option 3: Automatic Withdrawal payment based on 10 months (August through May). The withdrawal will be made around the 5th or the 20th of each month.

Book/Supplies/Fees: Fees for the 2009-2010 year will be $140. One-half is due at spring registration and is non-refundable. The other one-half is due at fall registration. Pre-school supplies fee is $70 and is due in full at spring registration and is non-refundable.

Technology Fees: A technology fee of $45 per child or a maximum of $90 per family (K-8).

Lunches: (2009-2010 Rates) $2.25 per lunch (includes milk); $ .50 (for milk only or extra milk); $3.75 per meal for all adults/other children. Applications for free/reduced lunches are available.

After School Extended Care Fees: Registration is $5.00 per family. Daily rate is $3.50 per hour or $7.00 per day (3:00 p.m.-5:30 p.m.).

Early morning drop-off (7:30 a.m.) no charge.
