Mrs. Susie Heil School Secretary Mrs. Heil was born in Hampton, VA (Langley Air Force Base). I'm an "Air Force brat." Graduated from Tates Creek High School in Lexington. Family Information: Married to Steve for 23 years. We have twins, Austin and Kristen, who are seniors this year at Bethlehem. Experience: I have been a stay at home mom for the past 9 years. My volunteer work during that time includes Chairperson of the St. Joseph School pancake breakfast, 4-H, Volleyball Booster Club Chair, and I have been the Chair of the Bethlehem Lights, Camera, Auction event for the last 4 years. Previously, I worked as a secretary for 12 years. Interests/hobbies: Whatever my children are involved in, Boy Scouts, 4-H, volleyball. Favorite animal: Collie, Sheltie. Favorite color: Right now, it is corals and sage greens. Favorite TV show: Dog Whisperer. Least favorite job: Unloading the dishwasher What you like to do on a snow day: Work a jigsaw puzzle with my kids. Favorite trip: My husband and I visited St. Barts while guests on a private yacht. We love going to Gatlinburg and the Outer Banks, N.C. Favorite childhood memory: Spending our vacations with my grandparents in western Kentucky and West Virginia. Facts about you: My family and I moved to Bardstown in 2003. I have a younger brother and a twin sister. My daughter has played volleyball since 4th grade and is interested in playing in college next year. My son received his Boy Scout Eagle award in March. I have been involved in Boy Scouts since 1999. After my son obtained the Eagle rank, my husband and I started a B. S. A. Venturing Crew. This is a co-ed program for high school age students. We are a high adventure group enjoying camping, rappelling, and other outdoor activities. Someone who was a positive influence: My family is a positive influence on me.
