Mrs. Anna DeWitt

Second Grade Teacher

Mrs. Anna DeWitt has been teaching for eight years. Mrs. DeWitt graduated from St. Catherine Elementary School in New Haven and from Nelson County High School. She did her undergraduate work at Western Kentucky University and acquired her Master's Degree from Bellarmine University. Family Information: I am the oldest of four, born and raised in New Haven, Kentucky. I have been married for 10 years to Billy. We have a son named William who will turn three in December. We also have a one year old daughter, Claire Interests/Hobbies: Hiking, reading, scrapbooking Favorite Sport: Hiking Favorite Animals: Dogs and horses Favorite Color: Yellow Favorite TV show: The Office Favorite Childhood memory: Going to the state fair every year with my family. Favorite trip/vacation: We took a trip to Yellowstone a couple of years ago. It was so beautiful! What do you like to do on a snow day: Curl up under a blanket and read. What do you like best about teaching: The best reward from teaching is when I finally see a child grasp a concept he/she has been struggling with.
