Mrs. Whiteman describes her favorite trip as one to the island of St. Martin to visit her daughter at the University of the Caribbean Medical School. Her favorite childhood memory is of the annual summer vacations her family took at their secluded cabin in Ontario, Canada. Her favorite part of teaching is witnessing the children’s pride in themselves when a new concept is finally grasped, and how they make her feel. “Like I will never grow old as long as long as I hang with them. I feel much honored to be a part of preparing them for the future,” she says. Her favorite quote is “If God brings you to it, He’ll help you through it.”
