This was the only place I was allowed to go and watch him play.” Mrs. Spalding describes her family’s positive influence on her: “My family has taught me a great deal about who I want to be. I credit my children for teaching me to be a better person and to work harder each day.” Her favorite thing about teaching is getting to know the students. She loves getting to watch them grow up and change each year. Mrs. Spalding’s favorite quote is: “You don’t know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.”
