Mrs. Penny Bradley is the Assistant Principal at St. Joseph School. She is entering her 30th year
in education. She spent 10 years teaching special education and business in Hardin and Hart
County. Mrs. Bradley then spent 17 years as an administrator in Nelson County. She was an Assistant
Principal at Nelson County High School for 13 years and the Principal at Horizons Academy (the alternative school for Nelson County) for four years. After Mrs. Bradley retired, she spent one full year away from education except for an occasional subbing.
She realized that she missed the interaction with students so after that year spent 8 months teaching special education at Foster Heights Elementary.
Mrs. Bradley is married to Don and they have two boys, KC and John. They were both adopted
from Guatemala when they were infants. Both boys attend Nelson County High School and are
very involved in the marching band. Mrs. Bradley and Mr. Bradley have been married for 34
years and attend Mill Creek Baptist Church.
Mrs. Bradley enjoys watching her kids in the band and doing all things that band moms do! She is
also a huge UK fan in all sports and the Atlanta Braves. Just for you UofL fans, she cheers for
them as long as they are not playing Kentucky!
