News & Announcements

Picture:The annual spring trip to Washington DC, including beautiful Mt. Vernon, is a St. Joseph School 8th grade tradition. This year, students, parents, and chaperones enjoyed visiting the Capital, Smithsonion Museums, Basilica of the National Shrine, Arlington Cemetary, Memorials, and ended the trip with an evening boat ride and dance on the Potomac River.

SJS Voted "Nelson County's "Best Elementary School": Thank you Nelson County Kentucky Standard readers for voting St. Joseph School "The Best Elementary School" for 2012. We appreciate your recognition and support.

SJS Completes AdvancED Certification: SJS completed the certification process this year and is now accredited through nationally recognized AdvancED (SJS was previously accredited through the Kentucky Nonpublic School Commission). The North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI) and The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI) are accreditation divisions of AdvancED.
